Aotea Square repose - photographers, spectators and seagulls

Against the backdrop of Auckland’s iconic Town Hall, its premier musical performance centre, the scenes in Aotea Square often include the usual suspects - seagulls looking for food scraps, photographers capturing birds in flight, and pedestrians hoping to find a moment’s respite.

Such is the dance of the day in the city centre’s largest public square.
