sit, crouch, huddle - K Road
I return always to K Road.
Everything about today’s image exudes the K Road vibe.
The people: two gentlemen sitting or crouching in isolation - one uninterested in the others, instead looking away . . . at something else of interest or perhaps just lost in thought; the other crouching (why?) but focused on the gents engaged in rapt conversation. the other two men standing, conversing, with eyes locked.
The top edge of the image presents a set of building facades in marked contrast. The architecture of K Road is a riot of styles set in discordant proximity.
The stores: yours to consume or wear: vapes and dreadlocks, inhale in style.
Finally, my photographic treatment: saturated colours, edgy contrasts; grainy atmospherics.
Definitely K Road.
