girl on a swing - evening in Silo Park
Evenings are magical in the Silo Park section of Wynyard Quarter.
Previous posts celebrate the creative illumination in evenings of the silos, once functional cement storage containers that, with the redevelopment of the precinct, have been retained to mark the quarter’s industrial past.
Families flock to Wynyard Quarter to walk along the harbour front, watch the sailboats that transverse the Waitematā Harbour and enjoy the amenities of the Silo Park playground.
In this image, I captured the rapture of father and daughter as they enjoyed a set of swings at the edge of the playground.
